The Association for Women in Communications will present the 51th Annual Byliner Awards on February 5, 2009 at the Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club. This dinner and awards program recognizes the accomplishments of women who have made a significant contribution to our community through their professional and volunteer achievements.  

AWC uses proceeds from the Byliner Awards Dinner to offer education and resources to members and scholarships to female students pursuing a degree in the communications field. Recipients are selected based on aptitude, achievement and financial need. Every year, the Oklahoma City Chapter of AWC awards between $5,000 and $8,000 in scholarships. Scholarships are awarded at the AWC Bosses Breakfast held in May.
